Vocabulary
Find three unfamiliar vocabulary words in your day to day reading. (Do NOT use our vocabulary book.) Use context clues to determine the meaning and post that process, along with an original sentence for each word on your blog.
Time Management
Post your Google calendar, with any important schedule items and your study plan. Also post a To Do list for the day of your top three priority items.
Reflection Post
Address the following prompt with a minimum of 250 words.
Although the overall focus on our reading class has been improving reading comprehension of academic tests, we have also spent time discussing time management. As a student, learning to budget your time and plan wisely how to SPEND your time is critical. We are now in our 14th week of classes. There are just three more weeks of classes. Are you ready? In this reflection post, I would like you to consider the demands of your schedule over the next few weeks. Have you been doing a good job of managing your time? If not, what do you need to do to Do you have any big projects due? Are there other commitments (work, family, etc.) that might interfere with your ability to successfully complete this semester?
